The Men’s Spanish International Open takes place from November 27 through to December 2 as 96 players compete for the $30,000 champion’s cheque at the European leg of the Predator Pro Billiard Series.
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz and Jonas Souto Comino will compete in their home country, accompanying the likes of two-time world 10-ball champion Eklent Kaci, Albin Ouschan and WPA number one Alex Kazakis in a star-studded field.
Wojciech Szewczyk and his Polish teammates including Daniel Maciol, Konrad Juszczyszyn, Szymon Kural, Mieszko Fortunski and Mateusz Sniegocki have travelled to Spain for the $100,000 tournament.
Other notable entrants for the 10-ball event include Denis Grabe, Wiktor Zielinski, Kledio Kaci, Bader Alawadhi, Oliver Szolnoki, Mohammad Soufi, Mario He, Max Lechner and Marco Teutscher, as well as Portugal’s Miguel Silva and Joao Grilo.
The Spanish International Open is double elimination until 32 players remain and uses Predator’s unique format, with three sets of race-to-four being contested. Should the third set be level at 3-3, a shootout will determine who prevails.
