The Women’s Las Vegas Open returns from February 25 to March 1 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, boasting a $75,000 prize fund in one of the most lucrative events in women’s pool.
World number one Kristina Tkach will compete in her first Predator Pro Billiard Series tournament as women’s world 10-ball champion, beginning her campaign against fellow former girls world champion Lena Primus, as 64 of the world’s best female players compete for the $22,500 top prize.
Chezka Centeno will act as the defending champion after beating Chen Siming in last year’s final, heading to Las Vegas alongside fellow Filipina Rubilen Amit, the reigning women’s world 9-ball champion.
Kelly Fisher, Jasmin Ouschan, Chou Chieh-Yu, Pia Filler, Margarita Fefilova and 2024 semi-finalist Chihiro Kawahara are also amongst the notable names involved, as are 2023 champion Seo Seoa and Silviana Lu, who meet in a mouth-watering first round encounter.
The Women’s Las Vegas Open uses Predator’s unique format, with race-to-four sets being contested. It will be best-of-three sets in double elimination and best-of-five sets in single elimination. Should the deciding set be level at 3-3, a shootout on the ten ball will determine who prevails.
Free coverage will be broadcast throughout the duration of the tournament via the Billiard TV websiteand Pro Billiard TV on YouTube.
