The inaugural Orangeforks Open will take place from November 8-10 at The Wizards pool and darts venue in Lelystad, Netherlands, the first World Nineball Tour ranking event to be held in the country.
Marc Bijsterbosch will be the top seed, with Nick van den Berg, Tim De Ruyter and Jan van Lierop joining the Spanish Open runner-up amongst the notable Dutch names competing on home soil.
Dutch youngsters Mika van Berkel and brothers Yannick and Quinten Pongers will also feature, as do Women’s Euro Tour stars Jolien Schuurman and Tamara Rademakers.
Hanoi Open quarter-finalist Kledio Kaci and UK Open semi-finalist Petri Makkonen have also entered, as have the legendary Ralf Souquet, Hungary’s Oliver Szolnoki, Germany’s Can Salim and Belgium’s Cliff Castelein.
The tournament will be double elimination until 32 players remain, race-to-nine on the winners’ side and race-to-eight on the one-loss side, while the single elimination phase will be race-to-ten racks.
Coverage will be broadcast on the Matchroom Pool YouTube channel across the weekend, with selected matches being shown including the final on Sunday evening.
