The Las Vegas Open kicks off the women’s season on the Predator Pro Billiard Series as Rubilen Amit defends her title at the Westgate Resort and Casino in Sin City.
Chezka Centeno of the Philippines, who competes as the women’s world 10-ball champion, will be one of the leading contenders to scoop the increased $27,000 top prize.
Each of the world’s top 10 players in the women’s world rankings have entered, headlined by world number one Jasmin Ouschan and Kristina Tkach, while reigning world 9-ball champion Seo Seoa and Chou Chieh-Yu will also be amongst the title favourites.
Other notable entrants include the legendary Kelly Fisher, Saigon Open champion Wei Tzu-Chien, Margarita Fefilova, Kristina Zlateva, Japan’s Chihiro Kawahara, Han Yu and Pia Filler, as well as teenage talents Sofia Mast and Savannah Easton.
Three-time women’s world snooker champion Ng On-Yee has emerged as a surprise entrant, competing on the Pro Billiard Series for the first time ahead of representing Hong Kong in next week’s World Teams Championship.
The Women’s Las Vegas 10-Ball Open is double elimination until 32 players remain and uses Predator’s unique format, with three sets of race-to-four being contested. Should the third set be level at 3-3, a shootout will determine who prevails.
An amendment to the Predator Pro Billiard Series for 2026 sees early shots on the 10 ball now become illegal. Players must sink the 10 ball when it is the lowest-numbered ball and with a proper call in order to win each rack, and the ball will be re-spotted should it be potted earlier.
Free coverage will be broadcast throughout the duration of the tournament via the Billiard TV websiteand Pro Billiard TV on YouTube.
