Premier League Pool will return to the pool hall from February 18-22 as the stunning Classic Billiards in Lauderhill, Florida hosts 16 of the world’s best players in the World Nineball Tour invitational.

Having been successfully staged at Jayson Shaw’s US1 Billiards room in Connecticut two years ago, Matchroom’s Premier League will once again grace one of the USA’s best pool halls, this time near Miami, Florida, with the $25,000 top prize up for grabs.

Despite just six of the world’s top 16 having accepted invitations due to the conflicting Las Vegas Open, a mixture of elite names and emerging talents will compete in the unique round robin event.

Defending champion Moritz Neuhausen, who won 127 racks across eight days to emerge victorious last year in Bosnia and Herzegovina, headlines this year’s field alongside US Open champion Aloysius Yapp and 2023 winner Francisco Sanchez Ruiz.

Hanoi Open champion Pijus Labutis, Robbie Capito and Chris Melling will return to the Premier League stage, while Vietnamese number one Duong Quoc Hoang, Reyes Cup MVP AJ Manas and Albanian brothers Eklent and Kledio Kaci will also return.

Jonas Souto Comino, John Morra, Jesus Atencio, the returning Justin Bergman, Indonesian phenom Albert Januarta and two-time world champion Thorsten Hohmann will all make their debuts in the unique Premier League in Florida.

In a shorter version of the event for 2026 and therefore a format adjustment, the 16 players involved will play one another once across the first three days, with the bottom six players in the league standings subsequently being eliminated.

Whoever qualifies for the second phase will then face their opponents once more on Saturday and Sunday, before the top four players in the league standings contest the play-offs to determine the champion.

All league phase matches will be race-to-five racks and alternate break in a format identical to the famous Mosconi Cup, while the semi-finals and final will be a slightly extended race-to-seven racks.

Table One and Table Two coverage will be broadcast live on WNT TV for subscribers across the five days, including the semi-finals and final on Sunday evening.
