The World Nineball Tour returns to Hanoi, Vietnam from July 3-6 for the bronze-ranked Universal x CPBA 99 Open at the 99 Billiards Club.
World number two and UK Open champion Aloysius Yapp leads the 128-player field alongside fellow Reyes Cup stars Mickey Krause and Carlo Biado, with the winner receiving $16,000 in prize money.
Vietnamese number one Duong Quoc Hoang, Naoyuki Oi, Robbie Capito and Nguyen Anh Tuan are also involved, while the Philippines are well-represented by the likes of Lee Van Corteza, James Aranas, Anton Raga, Jefrey Roda, Michael Feliciano, Bernie Regalario, Harry Vergara and teenager AJ Manas.
The Taiwanese players involved include Fu Che-Wei, Chang Yu-Lung, Wang Hung-Hsiang, Liu Ri-Teng, World 8-Ball Championship runner-up Hsu Jui-An and Wu Kun-Lin.
The tournament will be double elimination until 32 players remain, it will race-to-nine racks, winner breaks (race-to-eight on the one-loss side) until the race-to-11 semi-finals and race-to-13 final.
