The fourth iteration of the European Open Pool Championship may have reached its conclusion in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but there’s an action-packed schedule on the World Nineball Tour for the coming months.
Following Joshua Filler’s latest major success at the weekend, which saw him thrash Naoyuki Oi 13-1 in the most one-sided final in WNT history, events will be held each week for the next two months.
Premier League Pool will take place from March 20-27 as 16 players compete in the unique, fast-raced round robin invitational, but after that non-ranked event nine ranking tournaments will be held in consecutive weeks.
Beginning with the Seattle Open from March 28-30 as Bulgaria’s Georgi Georgiev defends his title, the McDermott Classic and the Beasley Open will follow in April, sandwiched by the popular Super Billiards Expo in Philadelphia.
Following a four-week swing stateside, the tour then returns to Europe for the Helsinki Open in Finland from April 24-27, followed by the Scottish Open in Glasgow, regarded as one of the strongest events outside of the majors.

The fourth staging of the UK Open Pool Championship then follows from May 6-11, with the final two days shown live on Sky Sports, as Hong Kong’s Robbie Capito defends his title after beating both Fedor Gorst and Joshua Filler en route to glory last year.
Players have the opportunity to travel onto Tangier from there for the Morocco Open from May 14-18, ahead of the inaugural Estonia Open in Tallinn from May 23-25.
Other WNT majors this year include the US Open Championship from August 18-23 and the Hanoi Open Championship in October, while the World Pool Championship in Saudi Arabia is pencilled in for May 30 until June 4 but that remains to be confirmed.
The brand new Florida Open Championship was also recently announced, taking place from August 5-10 in Orlando, while the Mosconi and Reyes Cups, World Masters, World Cup of Pool and Spanish Open are all expected to return this year.
