The second staging of the Raxx MVP Tour Open takes place from August 15-18 at the Raxx Pool Room in West Hempstead, New York, offering players ideal preparation for the US Open Pool Championship.
Carlo Biado will act as the defending champion having beaten Moritz Neuhausen in a thrilling final last year, while Joshua Filler and former world number one Francisco Sanchez Ruiz headline the field.
A total of 96 players will compete in a star-studded field, which also includes the likes of Albin Ouschan, Aloysius Yapp, Wiktor Zielinski, David Alcaide and newly-crowned European Open champion Mickey Krause.
Tyler Styer could notably secure his third consecutive ranking title on American shores, having won both the Chuck Markulis Memorial and the Big Dog Championship last month.
The tournament will be race-to-nine racks throughout, while 16 players will contest the single elimination phase following the double elimination early rounds.
Coverage will be broadcast via the Mhet Vergara Pro-Am Tour YouTube channel throughout the weekend.
