The inaugural Knight Shot Dubai Open takes place from June 12-15 at Jayson Shaw’s Billiard Lounge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the latest event on the World Nineball Tour calendar.

Following an exceptional World Pool Championship in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as Fedor Gorst became the youngest-ever two-time world champion, the WNT circuit remains on the Arabian peninsula as the world’s elite travel onto the UAE.

Gorst will compete in his first tournament since capturing a second world title and becoming the new world number one, while World Championship runner-up Eklent Kaci, Joshua Filler, Shane van Boening and Jayson Shaw are also amongst the world’s elite competing in Dubai.

In addition, recent UK Open champion Robbie Capito, David Alcaide, Mario He, Wiktor Zielinski, Pijus Labutis and Max Lechner have entered the $57,000 tournament, as well as the likes of Filipino stars Carlo Biado and Johann Chua.

Oscar Dominguez, Tyler Styer and Billy Thorpe are amongst the American players to have travelled on from Saudi Arabia with crucial ranking points towards the Mosconi Cup up for grabs.

Coverage begins from 2pm on Wednesday local time and will be broadcast on the Knight Shot YouTube channel across the four days, while all matches will be race-to-nine, winner breaks throughout the duration.
