The Rally in the Shenandoah Valley takes place from May 17-19 at the On Cue Sports Bar and Grill in Front Royal, Virginia, acting as the latest World Nineball Tour ranking event on the 2024 calendar.
The tournament is the fourth ranking event to be held in the USA this year, with Joshua Filler having won the Derby City Classic and Wiktor Zielinski and Jayson Shaw having claimed McDermott Classic and Super Billiards Expo titles respectively.
World number three and newly-crowned World Pool Masters champion Fedor Gorst headlines the 64-player field, which also includes his Mosconi Cup teammates Skyler Woodward, Tyler Styer and Shane Wolford.
Teenager Sam Henderson and Paul Song are also involved straight after their valiant UK Open Championship campaigns, while the likes of Billy Ussery, Lukas Fracasso-Verner, Shaun Wilkie and Jeremy Sossei are amongst the other Americans.
In addition, former Texas Open champion Vitaliy Patsura of Ukraine is amongst the notable entrants, as are the Filipino duo of Jeffrey De Luna and Roberto Gomez, Denmark’s Mickey Krause and New Zealand’s Sullivan Clark.
The tournament will be double elimination and race-to-nine racks until the last 16. It will then be single elimination and race-to-11, while the semi-finals will be race-to-13 and the final will be race-to-15.
PPV coverage will be shown via the Digital Pool website, with every match from all nine tables being streamed, including the semi-finals and finals on Sunday evening.
