The World Nineball Tour heads to the 30th staging of the Super Billiards Expo in Pennsylvania for the Professional Players Championship from April 11-14.
World number one Francisco Sanchez Ruiz headlines the 118-player field at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, with Jayson Shaw, David Alcaide and Wiktor Zielinski also amongst the stars who have entered.
Jonas Souto Comino returns to the venue of his finest hour, having won the tournament last year, while Derby City Classic runner-up Pijus Labutis of Lithuania heads back stateside in the hope of making extra strides.
Five-time US Open champion Earl Strickland is amongst the legendary names who have entered, which also include fellow world champions Darren Appleton, Ralf Souquet and Thorsten Hohmann.
In addition, Premier League Pool stars Michael Feliciano and Nguyen Anh Tuan are scheduled to compete in Philadelphia, as are the likes of Germany’s Moritz Neuhausen, Filipino Jeffrey de Luna and the UK’s Elliott Sanderson.
Mosconi Cup stars Tyler Styer and Shane Wolford are amongst the stand-out American contenders, alongside the likes of Oscar Dominguez, Nicholas De Leon, BJ Ussery and Raymond Linares.
The tournament will be race-to-eleven, alternate break throughout the duration and single elimination until the last 16, with the eventual champion receiving $15,000 in prize money.
PPV coverage will be available throughout the weekend via the Super Billiards Expo website, with selected matches shown as well as the semi-finals and final.
