The World Pool Masters lineup has been confirmed in full for the 2024 edition, with Duong Quoc Hoang and James Aranas named as the wildcards for the $125,000 event.
The 30th edition of the tournament involving the world’s very elite will take place in Hildesheim, Germany for the first time from April 25-28, as promoters Matchroom link up with Moltke Sports, who are known for establishing the European Darts Tour.
World number one Francisco Sanchez Ruiz and defending champion champion Ko Pin-Yi headline the players who qualify via the World Nineball Tour rankings, with former winners Shane van Boening, David Alcaide and Joshua Filler also involved.
Duong was announced as the opening wildcard selection, with the Vietnamese number one being a World Championship and Spanish Open quarter-finalist last year, before Filipino Aranas received the second invite following his 2023 Masters exploits.
The Masters will be played out of Halle 39 in Hildesheim, with coverage broadcast via Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland, DAZN in the USA and other international platforms.
