McDermott Classic 2024: Draw, live scores, format, prize fund and how to watch

The McDermott Classic takes place from March 15-17 at Amazin Billiards in Malden, Massachusetts and acts as the latest ranking tournament on the World Nineball Tour calendar.

With the tournament being held days before Premier League Pool in West Haven, Connecticut, a number of the world’s elite players will compete, including world number one Francisco Sanchez Ruiz.

Sanchez Ruiz is amongst six of the world’s top ten to have entered, with Joshua Filler, Jayson Shaw, Albin Ouschan, Mario He and David Alcaide joining the likes of Wiktor Zielinski, Max Lechner and Niels Feijen in the 128-player field.

Michael Feliciano and Nguyen Anh Tuan have also entered ahead of their Premier League debuts, while Germany’s Moritz Neuhausen and Spain’s Jonas Souto Comino will also participate.

Defending champion Billy Thorpe has opted against travelling to Massachusetts, having beaten Skyler Woodward in last year’s inaugural final, with Tyler Styler, Oscar Dominguez, Shane Wolford and Nicholas De Leon amongst the notable American entrants.

The McDermott Classic will be race-to-nine racks through to the single elimination phase, which will be race-to-11 racks, while the final will be race-to-13 racks. PPV coverage will be broadcast via McDermottClassic.com.
