Puerto Rico Open 2023: Draw, live scores, format, prize fund and how to watch

This year’s Predator Pro Billiard Series reaches its conclusion this week as the 2023 staging of the Puerto Rico Open takes place at the stunning Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan.

Carlo Biado of the Philippines will be defending his title following his victory over Polish youngster Daniel Maciol in the 2022 final, with this year’s eventual champion receiving a cheque for $37,500 in prize money.

The majority of the world’s elite have headed to the Caribbean island for the prestigious 10-ball event, including Wiktor Zielinski – who has won both the Las Vegas Open and the Michigan Open during this year’s Pro Billiard Series.

WPA number one Joshua Filler will also compete alongside the likes of three-time Pro Billiard Series champion Fedor Gorst, the in-form Aloysius Yapp, Shane van Boening, Alexander Kazakis and Mario He.

The $125,000 tournament, taking place from November 7-10, is double elimination during the early stages, with 32 players advancing to the redrawn single elimination phase.

Predator’s Pro Series is known for its unique format as three sets of race-to-four are contested. Should the third set be level at 3-3, a shootout on the ten ball will be used to determine the winner.

Free coverage will be broadcast throughout the duration of the tournament via the Billiard TV website and Pro Billiard TV on YouTube, with the semi-finals and final held on Friday evening local time.
