The inaugural Battle of the Bull tournament takes place from October 25-29 at Wolf’s Den Billiards in Roanoke, Virginia, acting as the latest ranking event on the World Nineball Tour calendar.
Shane van Boening and Fedor Gorst headline the 128-player field, with more than $50,000 in prize money on offer as the race towards the 2024 Mosconi Cup begins.
US Open semi-finalist Aloysius Yapp, Alexander Kazakis, Roberto Gomez, Naoyuki Oi and Oliver Szolnoki are also amongst those involved, as are American Mosconi Cup stars Skyler Woodward and Tyler Styer.
It will be double elimination and race-to-eight racks until 32 players remain, when the format switches to single elimination and race-to-nine. Sunday’s final will be race-to-13 racks.
World Nineball Tour rules will be enforced, nine on the spot with a break box, while coverage will be broadcast via the Pool Action TV website across the four days for those with a subscription.
