Peri 9-Ball Open 2023: Draw, live scores, format, prize fund and how to watch

The inaugural staging of the Peri 9-Ball Open takes place from October 5-9 in Hanoi City, with the $104,000 tournament being the latest ranking event on the World Nineball Tour calendar.

The purpose-built Peri Pool Arena will host a number of the world’s very elite professionals ahead of the first ever Hanoi Open Pool Championship, which takes place during the following week.

World number one Francisco Sanchez Ruiz headlines a star-studded field, which also includes the likes of Shane van Boening, David Alcaide, Fedor Gorst, Mario He and Skyler Woodward.

Anton Raga will also compete for the $25,000 top prize alongside Filipino World Cup of Pool champions Johann Chua and James Aranas, while in-form youngsters Moritz Neuhausen and Aleksa Pecelj are amongst those in attendance.

Newly-crowned US Open champion Ko Ping-Chung and his brother Ko Pin-Yi have chosen to compete at the WPA Qatar Open instead, as have the likes of Joshua Filler, Carlo Biado and Wiktor Zielinski.

In addition, Vietnamese number one Duong Quoc Hoang has travelled to the Qatari capital, with Nguyen Anh Tuan, Luong Duc Thien, Do The Kien and Pham Phuong Nam therefore amongst the local players from Vietnam.

Coverage will be broadcast on the webthethao.vn YouTube channel as well as the Vietnam Billiards Promotion Facebook page, while selected matches will be shown on the Matchroom Pool YouTube channel.
